Broadcaster and culinary entrepreneur Paik Jong-won has resumed his YouTube content activities after about a year.
On the morning of June 5, Paik Jong-won released a video titled "Super Simple Cold Soy Sauce Noodles, Easier than Ramen Is Here" on his YouTube channel, "PAIK JONG WON."
In the video's description box, he wrote, "The weather has gotten really hot lately, hasn't it? I've prepared a very simple cold noodle recipe that is perfect for this kind of weather." He added, "Be sure to try making it when you're craving cool, sweet, and sour noodles. Enjoy your meal today, and take care of your health in this hot weather."
In the released video, Paik Jong-won reunited with viewers after a long time, introducing his cold soy sauce noodle recipe. He continued his signature friendly hosting style, explaining everything step-by-step, from boiling the noodles to making the sauce.
Theborn Korea also announced the resumption of Paik Jong-won's YouTube activities on this day. The company stated that they plan to focus on introducing Korean food culture in an easy and fun way, centered around cooking content on the "PAIK JONG WON" channel, while also promoting Korean cuisine to global viewers. Additionally, corporate and brand-related content, which was previously uploaded to the main channel, will now be managed on a separate channel.
Previously, Paik Jong-won had halted his broadcast and YouTube activities following several controversies surrounding Theborn Korea last year. This comeback is significant as it marks his official return to content creation after about a year, and given his long-standing popularity with the public, attention is focused on how viewers will respond.
