ZEROBASEONE member Park Gun-wook has personally apologized for the recent controversy surrounding his behavior at a fan signing event.

On June 4, Park Gun-wook shared a handwritten apology on a fan communication platform, stating, "I am posting this because I want to offer my sincere apology for my actions at the recent fan signing event."

Previously, allegations surfaced on online communities and social media platforms suggesting that Park Gun-wook called out a different number from the one he actually drew during a signed Polaroid giveaway at the fan signing. Some fans raised concerns, questioning whether he changed the number to give a specific fan the chance to win, and the controversy grew as related videos spread online.

Addressing this, Park Gun-wook bowed his head in apology, writing, "At the time, I should have judged and acted more carefully, but I failed to do so. I deeply regret and take heavy responsibility for causing confusion and hurt to many people because of this."

He continued, "I sincerely apologize to those who were confused and hurt by my shortcomings. Even though I have always deeply cherished the love and support that fans send us, I am sorry that I failed to show behavior worthy of that love."

He also shared, "I will not take this matter lightly and will sincerely reflect on my actions. I am deeply sorry for once again disappointing ZEROSE, who supported and believed in us throughout this album promotion."

Park Gun-wook also extended his apologies to his fellow members and staff, adding, "From now on, I will act more carefully and reflect with all my heart so that I can grow and become someone who is not ashamed of the trust ZEROSE has placed in me."
