BTS V Shows Heartwarming Loyalty to Military Colleague Facing Backlash: "I Hope You Don't Let It Get to You"

BTS member V has shown heartwarming camaraderie by personally stepping up to support a former military training center colleague who faced criticism for allegedly "using BTS's popularity to gain attention" after sharing stories about V's time in the military.

Recently, a content creator posted a series of Reels on social media sharing his experiences living with V at the army training center. He explained that he was assigned to the same platoon as V upon enlistment and spent about a month with him, sharing various anecdotes from their training days.

As the videos gained traction, some raised concerns that he was sharing overly personal details about V's military life. In response, the creator announced he would stop uploading, stating, "As the videos became more famous than expected, a lot of negative comments also started appearing."

In response, V drew attention by leaving a comment saying, "It's been a while. Your memory is insane." He didn't stop there, offering further encouragement: "While many people enjoyed and appreciated the videos you put so much effort into making, it seems there were also some who looked at them with worry. Personally, I found them really fun."

He comforted his former comrade, writing, "In life, even when you do something with good intentions, people have different perspectives, so it can be received differently. I hope you don't let every single opinion get to you." He added, "No matter what anyone says, you were the absolute ace of our platoon, and I truly enjoyed the time I spent in the military with you. I think it might be hard for people who didn't actually live through it with us to fully understand what we experienced."

V also didn't forget to include his signature playful humor. "I'm leaving this comment because I was worried you might be bench-pressing out of stress because of these reactions," he wrote, adding, "(Freeze! Friendly fire, friendly fire!)." He concluded his message of support by saying, "Have a great day, and I hope you don't worry too much. I'm always rooting for you. I don't remember what your dream was, but since you have a great physique, it must be a bodybuilder, right? Fighting!"

The comment received enthusiastic support from fans, garnering over 50,000 "likes."

Meanwhile, V served in the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Military Police Patrol under the ROK Army's 2nd Corps and was discharged in June of last year.
