Jee Seokjin Defeats Yang Sechan in Shocking 'Running Man' Name Tag Battle: "Fathers, Rise Up!"

Jee Seokjin emerged victorious over Yang Sechan.

On the May 31 broadcast of SBS's 'Running Man,' a one-on-one name tag ripping battle between Jee Seokjin and Yang Sechan was revealed.

During the broadcast, the production team announced that the name tag ripping match between the two would take place in the SBS outdoor courtyard. They revealed that an advantage would be applied to Jee Seokjin considering his age, and asked the other members to predict the winner, promising benefits for those who guessed correctly.

In response, the members struggled to predict the winner, saying, "In our hearts, we want Seokjin-hyung to win." Ultimately, Kim Jong-kook and Yu Jae-seok, believing an upset would be difficult, predicted Yang Sechan's victory, while the remaining members bet on Jee Seokjin.

The game was highly intense, following the rule that the name tag ripping began the moment they stepped out of their cars. Defying everyone's expectations, Jee Seokjin claimed victory. Overwhelmed with emotion, Jee Seokjin drew attention by shouting, "Fathers, rise up!"

Regarding Jee Seokjin's advantage—which was having his name tag sewn on tightly—Kim Jong-kook asked, "Don't you have any pride?" Jee Seokjin honestly replied, "I don't." Yang Sechan then requested a rematch to determine the ultimate winner, raising curiosity about who will emerge as the final victor.
