OMEGA X Set for a Fresh Start with 'UNCAPPED': Fan-Participatory Comeback Project Unveiled

Boy group OMEGA X is standing at a new starting line once again with their upcoming mini-album, 'UNCAPPED.'

OMEGA X will release their fourth mini-album, 'UNCAPPED,' on June 19, officially kicking off their comeback promotions. This album holds deep significance as it marks a fresh start, putting behind the confusion and controversies following their transfer to IPQ, and standing before the public and fans once again as a seven-member lineup. Leaving the past behind, OMEGA X plans to share their story through their music and performances.

The fourth mini-album, 'UNCAPPED,' consists of five tracks. The title track of the same name, "UNCAPPED," is a song that opens the lid on bottled-up emotions to express moments of freedom and liberation. It combines the rhythmic groove characteristic of Afrobeat with EDM sounds, delivering an energy that builds up to an explosive climax.

In particular, this album goes beyond simply meaning "breaking limits" to symbolize OMEGA X's present state of returning to zero and starting anew. It powerfully captures the message of a new beginning rather than an end, breaking out of the mold to move forward once again.

The fact that the album was completed together with fans is also drawing attention. Through the global fandom platform Kooky, OMEGA X actively reflected fans' opinions on everything from selecting the title track to hair concepts and the member lineup for unit tracks. This adds a special meaning as a comeback project co-created by the group and their fans, going beyond simple participation.

Active promotions will continue following their comeback. To celebrate the album's release, OMEGA X will hold a fan meeting alongside a collaborative pop-up store with Olive Young. They also plan to expand their connection with global fans by planning tours in the Americas, Asia, and Europe, as well as domestic concerts.

In the second half of this year, members HANGYEOM and TAEDONG, who are currently serving in the military, are scheduled to rejoin the group after their discharge. As they prepare for the new album with a lineup closer to a full group, anticipation is high for the next chapter OMEGA X will write.
