Creator Park Wi and Secret member Song Ji-eun, a couple who touched the hearts of the public with their "miraculous love," are revealing their newlywed life on television for the first time.
On the episode of SBS's 'You're My Destiny' airing Tuesday, May 19 at 10:40 PM, the sweet 19-month newlywed life of Park Wi and Song Ji-eun, who have joined the show as a new couple, will be unveiled. During the broadcast, the couple will showcase their "customized home," thoughtfully designed to accommodate Park Wi's wheelchair, leaving the studio in awe.
In the previously recorded episode, the couple went on a special date, just the two of them, for the first time in a while. In particular, Park Wi drew attention by preparing a unique, first-of-its-kind experience in Korea that people with disabilities can enjoy without limitations. As they neared their destination, Park Wi could not hide his excitement, saying, "I'm nervous. I can't believe I'm finally bringing Ji-eun here!"
However, the heartwarming atmosphere of the date was short-lived. Park Wi suddenly became emotional and opened up about his inner thoughts that he hadn't easily shared before, surprising everyone. Song Ji-eun, who had been listening silently by his side, eventually burst into tears as well, heightening curiosity about the real story behind why the couple shed tears in the middle of their happy date.
Meanwhile, the couple's trivial yet affectionate daily life, which feels like a "textbook for marriage," warmed the studio. Comedian Kim Jun-ho, who appeared as a special MC, started off with the confidence of a romantic, but after watching the couple's newlywed life, he began to reflect on his own marriage, leading to a painful(?) self-examination that turned the set into a sea of laughter.
The realistic newlywed story of Park Wi, who has become an icon of hope through YouTube, and Song Ji-eun, who has been radiating even brighter energy since her marriage, will be revealed on 'You're My Destiny' airing Tuesday, May 19 at 10:40 PM.
