'Sold Out on You' Ahn Hyo Seop & Chae Won-been Seal the Deal with a Heart-Fluttering Kiss

Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won-been of the drama Sold Out on You have officially confirmed their feelings for each other, delivering a massive dose of excitement to viewers at home.

In the 7th episode of the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama Sold Out on You (written by Jin Seung-hee, directed by Ahn Jong-yeon), which aired on May 13, the protagonists Matthew Lee (played by Ahn Hyo Seop) and Dam Ye-jin (played by Chae Won-been) captivated viewers with a "kiss ending" that signaled the start of their romance after clearing up their misunderstandings.

The episode depicted Matthew Lee suffering from severe aftereffects following the surprise peck from Dam Ye-jin, providing plenty of laughs. While Matthew tried to maintain his composure, believing that Dam Ye-jin’s actions were merely a mistake caused by sleep medication, his true feelings burst out during the village sports day.

During a game of charades, he completely abandoned his usual cool-headed demeanor, failing to guess the answers and instead staring at Dam Ye-jin’s lips while blurting out, "I like your lips," causing an uproar of laughter. However, he also showed his chivalrous side by stepping in to complete the relay race for Ye-jin, who had an injured ankle, making hearts flutter.

The knot of misunderstanding was untied by Dam Ye-jin’s honest confession. Ye-jin, feeling hurt by Matthew Lee’s attempts to avoid her, asked him, "Why are you being so nice to me?" and revealed that the kiss that day was not a mistake, but a sincere expression of her feelings.

In response, Matthew Lee stopped holding back. He took Ye-jin’s hand and said, "Then this is because of you, Dam Ye-jin," before leaning in for a deep kiss. The kiss scene between the two, affectionately dubbed the "Tyu-Dam Couple," sent the excitement levels of viewers through the roof.

The show’s popularity extends beyond Korea. As of May 13, Sold Out on You has appeared on the Netflix Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows list for three consecutive weeks, proving the power of K-drama. It seems the combination of a heartwarming, healing narrative and a full-blown romance has truly resonated with global fans through word-of-mouth.
