2PM Returns to Tokyo Dome After 10 Years: An Emotional Reunion with 85,000 HOTTEST

The group 2PM has made a triumphant return to the Tokyo Dome after 10 years, completing a passionate reunion with 85,000 HOTTEST.

On May 9 and 10, 2PM held their solo concert, '2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert "THE RETURN" in TOKYO DOME,' in celebration of their 15th anniversary in Japan. This performance marked their return to the Tokyo Dome for the first time in about 10 years since 2016, proving their enduring popularity by drawing a total of 85,000 fans over the two days.

Since their debut in 2008, 2PM has received explosive love in Japan following their local debut in 2011. They first entered the Tokyo Dome in 2013 and held a second concert there in 2016; this third performance added even more significance to their journey. Above all, the venue was filled with deep emotion even before the show began, as the members fulfilled the promise they made to fans a decade ago: "We will come back."

2PM performed 25 of their representative domestic and international hits during the concert, which lasted over three hours per show. The setlist included their Japanese debut song 'Take off,' as well as 'I'm your man,' 'Ultra Lover,' 'Guilty Love,' 'Heartbeat,' 'My House,' and 'I'll Be Back -Japanese ver.-'.

In particular, 2PM's signature powerful performance remained as strong as ever. The Tokyo Dome erupted in explosive cheers during the iconic human tower formation in 'Heartbeat,' the point choreography of 'My House,' and the performance where all members ripped their shirts during 'I'm your man.' The production, which included the members riding hot air balloons to navigate above the audience, further elevated the festival atmosphere.

The members shared their thoughts on the concert. JUN. K said, "I promised 10 years ago at the Tokyo Dome that we would return, and I am just happy to be able to stand here like this. 2PM exists because of HOTTEST." NICHKHUN added, "It was a dreamlike time. It is a day I will truly never forget." Taec-yeon shouted, "We spent our 20s and 30s with you, so let's stay together through our 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s," while WOOYOUNG remarked, "Because we have today, there will be a tomorrow." JUNHO shared, "The Tokyo Dome is not a place you can stand on just because you have been active for a long time. Meeting here again feels like a miracle." CHANSUNG also expressed his gratitude to the fans, saying, "HOTTEST are the stars shining in 2PM's night sky."

It was reported that fans in the audience could not hide their tears. Watanabe Naoko, a fan in her 50s from Tokyo, said, "2PM is the strength that helps me live every day," while a mother and daughter from Chiba expressed their overwhelming emotions, saying, "Half of my life has been as a HOTTEST. 2PM is my youth."

Meanwhile, 2PM will continue the momentum by holding their domestic solo concert, '2026 2PM Concert "THE RETURN" in INCHEON,' at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on August 8 and 9.
