
Model and actress Kang Seung-hyun (38) has shared her poignant feelings following the passing of her father.
On the 11th, Kang took to her social media to post a long message, stating, "Thanks to the comfort of so many people, I was able to send my father off well."
She wrote, "Although I couldn't reply to everyone individually, I read every single message and heart you sent, and I found great comfort in them," adding, "Please pray with me that my father, who suffered from a long-term illness, is now at peace in that place."
Addressing her father, she continued, "Now, don't lose your way, and make sure you arrive at a wonderful place. There, please eat all the delicious food you couldn't eat before, hike to your heart's content on your own two feet as you loved to do, wear all the stylish clothes you wanted, and live well until we meet again." Her words brought deep sorrow to those who read them.
Previously, it was reported that Kang Seung-hyun lost her father on the 6th. She has now finished the funeral arrangements with her family.
Kang Seung-hyun first made a name for herself in 2008 by becoming the first person of Asian descent to win the Ford Models Supermodel of the World contest, and she subsequently became active in the global fashion scene. She later expanded her career into acting, appearing in films such as 'Believer', 'Homme Fatale', and 'Believer 2', as well as dramas including 'Partners for Justice Season 2', 'The Cursed', and 'My Holo Love'.
