NCT DOYOUNG Lends His Voice to Brother Gong Myung's Drama Soundtrack: A Special Sibling Collaboration

NCT member DOYOUNG has stepped up to provide strong support for his older brother, actor Gong Myung.

The fourth OST for the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 'Filing for Love', titled "Can You Hear My Heart?" and featuring vocals by NCT’s DOYOUNG, was officially released on various online music platforms on the afternoon of the 10th.

This OST, "Can You Hear My Heart?," holds special significance as it marks the first time DOYOUNG has participated as a singer for a project starring his brother, Gong Myung. Known in the entertainment industry as a pair of "close-knit brothers," the news of the two collaborating on a single project generated explosive interest from fans even before the release.

The new track "Can You Hear My Heart?" captures the deep, unspoken feelings that the male lead, Noh Gi-jun (played by Gong Myung), harbors for the female lead, Ju In-a (played by Shin Haesun).

DOYOUNG’s refreshing and warm vocals, layered over a solid yet gentle guitar sound, perfectly complete the song’s delicate emotional tone. Notably, the track was featured in a pivotal scene in the 6th episode where Noh Gi-jun reveals his feelings to Ju In-a, creating a synergy between Gong Myung’s deep acting and DOYOUNG’s sweet tone that heightened the excitement for viewers.

Fans have taken to social media to express their joy over the collaboration, with comments such as, "Gong Myung’s gaze paired with DOYOUNG’s voice is the ultimate combination," and "It’s so heartwarming to see real-life brothers meeting in a project."
