THE BOYZ YOUNGHOON to Star in Time-Slip Romance 'Love WiFi-Palace' Alongside WJSN LUDA & Kim Dong-jun

THE BOYZ’s YOUNGHOON is set to showcase his acting transformation in the time-slip romance ‘Love WiFi-Palace.’

The KITZ premium series ‘Love WiFi-Palace’ is a romance drama about a webtoon artist desperate for success and a court lady who dreams of becoming a royal concubine, who become connected across time and space through a mysterious mother-of-pearl chest. It is based on the webtoon of the same name, which was serialized in 2023.

In the drama, YOUNGHOON plays ‘Tae-pung,’ a webtoon artist struggling with financial difficulties. Through the mother-of-pearl chest left by his mother, Tae-pung connects with ‘So-hyang,’ a court lady from the past, and decides to become her dating coach to gain ideas for his next project. However, as he grows closer to So-hyang, he experiences unexpected emotional changes.

WJSN’s LUDA takes on the role of ‘So-hyang,’ a court lady of humble origins who dreams of winning the King’s love and becoming a royal concubine. As she communicates with Tae-pung from the future, she will portray the process of her perspective on her own life and love gradually changing.

Actor Kim Dong-jun plays the role of the cold-headed King ‘Lee Hwi,’ forming a love triangle with YOUNGHOON and LUDA. Having lived with a closed heart amidst power struggles, Lee Hwi finds himself gradually drawn to the proactive and bright So-hyang.

‘Love WiFi-Palace’ is also garnering attention for being a project simultaneously planned as a movie, a short-form drama, and a mid-form drama. It is raising expectations as a new attempt to expand a single story into various formats. It will be produced by the production company KITZ, which has been consistently presenting content starring K-pop artists. 

Meanwhile, ‘Love WiFi-Palace,’ starring YOUNGHOON, has finished filming and is currently in post-production.
