SBS's 'Kick a Goal' has proven its unwavering popularity by securing the No. 1 spot in 20-49 viewership ratings for its time slot, despite a change in broadcast time.

'Kick a Goal,' which moved to the 10:20 PM time slot on Wednesday, April 29, recorded a 20-49 viewership rating of 1.1%, ranking first among all programs in the same time slot. Originally airing on Wednesday nights at 9:00 PM, the show was moved to 10:20 PM due to the scheduling of Wednesday-Thursday dramas. Despite the shift to a later time, it continues to receive steadfast support from its core audience, once again proving the program's competitiveness.

In this episode, the final match of the 2nd G-League Interleague took place, featuring a high-stakes showdown between 'FC Wonder Woman 2026' and 'FC Actionista.' With a spot in the semifinals and the final group stage rankings on the line, both teams engaged in an intense battle from the start.

Desperate for a win by a margin of five goals or more to advance to the semifinals, FC Wonder Woman 2026 kept up an aggressive attack, while FC Actionista displayed the performance of a veteran powerhouse to secure their own path to the semifinals. After a tense back-and-forth, FC Actionista led 3–2 until the final moments of the second half.

A miracle arrived for FC Wonder Woman 2026, who seemed destined for defeat, just before the end of the match. Goalkeeper Mashima joined the attack and scored a dramatic buzzer-beater equalizer, bringing the game to a 3–3 tie. The stadium erupted in excitement, and with the fate of both teams undecided in regulation time, the match headed to a penalty shootout.
