The horror film 'Salmokji : Whispering Water' has held the No. 1 spot at the box office for 21 consecutive days.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater tickets on the 29th, 'Salmokji : Whispering Water' drew 51,188 viewers nationwide on the 28th. The cumulative number of viewers is 2,076,847.

'Salmokji : Whispering Water' is a horror film that depicts strange events occurring at a reservoir filled with ghost stories, and it stars Kim Hye-yoon, Lee Jong-won, and Kim Jun-han. Since its release on the 8th, it has maintained the No. 1 spot at the box office for 21 consecutive days. It surpassed its break-even point (approximately 800,000 viewers) on the 7th day of release, reached 1 million viewers in 10 days, and succeeded in surpassing 2 million viewers in 20 days.

With the Hollywood highly anticipated film 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' being released today (the 29th), attention is focused on whether 'Salmokji : Whispering Water' will be able to continue to hold onto the No. 1 spot.
