'Made in Korea' has teased an intense conflict between its characters for the upcoming second season, set to be released in the second half of the year.
'Made in Korea Season 2' is a story that follows the events 9 years later, where the greater ambitions of Baek Gi-tae (Hyun Bin), who stands at the pinnacle of power, Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung), who has been preparing for a counterattack, and Baek Gi-hyeon (Woo Do-hwan), who is heading toward a different peak of power than his brother, run wild and shake the foundation with irreversible cracks.
The first-look stills released on the 28th capture Baek Gi-tae, Jang Geon-young, and Baek Gi-hyeon radiating a deeper aura within a heavy atmosphere. The cool yet relaxed appearance of Baek Gi-tae, sitting at his office desk, shows that he has reached the height of power.
The appearance of Jang Geon-young, who faced a bitter ending in Season 1, also draws attention. Replacing his past madness-filled obsession with coolness and composure, curiosity is piqued as to how Jang Geon-young will clash with Baek Gi-tae and heighten the tension of the drama.
Baek Gi-hyeon, staring straight ahead while holding a telephone receiver, overwhelms the viewer with his firm gaze and heavy presence. In particular, Baek Gi-hyeon will play a decisive role as a variable that digs between his brother Baek Gi-tae and Jang Geon-young.
While the intertwined fates of the three men stimulated interest in Season 1, the three are expected to clash in earnest in Season 2, raising the tension of the story.
'Made in Korea Season 2' will be available on Disney+ in the second half of 2026.
