'Shinji's Fiance' MoonOne: "Work Dried Up Due to Controversy; I Worked at a Logistics Center and a Stair Cleaning Company"

Singer MoonOne, who is set to marry Shinji of the group Koyote, confessed that after a personal life controversy, his work dried up and he had to get by through part-time jobs.

On the episode of KBS 2TV's "Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant" that aired on the 24th, the soon-to-be-married couple Shinji and MoonOne appeared together and opened up about their situation.

When asked how it feels to live together, Shinji expressed her gratitude to MoonOne, saying, "It’s nice because I feel a sense of stability. No matter what I do, he is by my side making sure I don't have to lift a finger. I’m so grateful and sorry for that."

Shinji continued, "If he hadn't met me, he wouldn't have received this much attention when these things happened last year," showing her regret. Shinji shared, "He had a very hard time (after the controversy). He used to go to performances and sing at weddings, but that work completely stopped."

To this, MoonOne said, "I looked for what I could do, so I moved goods at a logistics center and worked at a stair cleaning company. I couldn't just sit around and rest, so I wanted to contribute."

Shinji praised MoonOne's diligence, which even her fellow members recognized, saying, "The Koyote members also worried a lot, asking, 'Is MoonOne okay?' When I told them, 'He went to his cleaning part-time job again today,' they said, 'He is a truly sincere and good person.'"

Regarding the public criticism directed at him, MoonOne said, "I think it's unavoidable. It’s because the people who love Shinji are worried about her," adding, "I think the only way is to work hard and show them through my actions."

Shinji then showed her trust in MoonOne, saying, "You are doing enough now. I am fully satisfied, fully grateful, and I respect you."

Last year, Shinji made a surprise announcement of her engagement to MoonOne, who is 7 years her junior, which became a major topic of conversation. However, the news that should have only been met with congratulations was met with voices opposing the marriage after it was revealed that MoonOne had a past divorce and children, along with personal controversies such as illegal real estate business dealings.
