"Phantom Lawyer" Yoo Yeon-seok Suffers a Gunshot Wound While Rescuing a Missing Child... Will He Become a Ghost and Ascend to Heaven?

Yoo Yeon-seok has become a ghost ― is he about to cross over?

On the April 18 episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Phantom Lawyer" (hereafter "Phantom Lawyer"), Shin I-rang faced a life-or-death crisis.

That night, Shin I-rang set out to find a missing child. A suspicious police officer tailed him.

The officer then aimed a gun at Shin I-rang. "Who are you? How did you know this place? How do you know about something from a year ago?" he yelled.

Shin I-rang realized the cop was the real culprit. Per I-rang’s request, the ghost of the missing child had stayed alone in the car. In that moment, the child remembered his past ― and recognized the officer as his kidnapper.

The cop assaulted Shin I-rang. Just then, another officer from a different unit, the one who had taken the missing-person case, arrived.

The corrupt cop covered his tracks by claiming he was there to find the child and that Shin I-rang was the suspect. He even overpowered the other officer.

After learning the truth, the child’s ghost possessed Shin I-rang. Together, they rescued the missing child from the kidnapper.

Shin I-rang headed to the hospital with the child. But he had taken a bullet to the abdomen. He collapsed.

Han Na-hyun rushed to the hospital after hearing Shin I-rang was in critical condition. She broke down in tears at his bedside.

All the while, Shin I-rang’s ghost watched ― leaving viewers wondering what comes next.
