Curiosity is soaring over how "Running Man" will weave youngest member Ji Ye-eun’s dating news into the show.
On the 13th, word broke that Ji Ye-eun is dating Vata, the leader of dance crew WE DEM BOYZ. Ji Ye-eun’s agency CPN Entertainment confirmed, “The two, who had been colleagues, are now seeing each other with good feelings,” and added, “Please send them warm support.” Vata’s agency ARA also stated, “The two are in a good relationship, caring for each other.”
That morning, a media outlet first reported the dating rumors. According to the report, both born in 1994, the two started as “church friends” before becoming a couple.
The news quickly became the hottest topic on the "Running Man" set. The show films on Mondays, and the day the news broke happened to be a Monday. On set, members reportedly showered Ji Ye-eun with congratulations―and plenty of playful teasing.

The vibe came through on the show’s official social media. While recording a special for its 800th episode, "Running Man" launched a real-time poll featuring pottery pieces made by the members. Among the pieces were cheeky themes like “Ye-eun, So in Love Her Face Turned Into a Heart” and “Yang Se-chan’s Jaw on the Floor at Ji Ye-eun’s Dating News.” A clear peek at how the team is embracing the moment on set.

"Running Man" took it a step further by resurfacing a past clip where Ji Ye-eun said her ideal type was a man who goes to church. “Ji Ye-eun Finally Met Her Ideal Type. Our Ye-eun Is Really Dating,” the caption celebrated.
The "Running Man" cast has long turned life updates―big or small―into laughs, mixing heartfelt congratulations with friendly jabs. All eyes are on how the “maknae” Ji Ye-eun’s romance will play out on screen when the 800th-episode special airs on the 26th.
