Actor Gang Dong-won turned heads with styling that could fool you into thinking he’s a current idol.

On April 10, TRIANGLE’s official social media shared photos of Gang Dong-won, Um Tae-goo, and Park Jihyeon transformed into idol group members, alongside the caption: “TRIANGLE special comeback single album title ‘Love is’ teaser, pre-release 2026.04.21 (KST). Album release 2026.06.03 Wednesday.”

TRIANGLE is the co-ed group that appears in the film "Wild Sing". Ahead of the premiere, the "Wild Sing" team opened TRIANGLE’s official social accounts as part of the promo rollout.

Their idol makeovers are grabbing attention. The trio sports gorp-core looks, styled with beanies and caps for extra flair.

In particular, Gang Dong-won, in a red paisley beanie, shows off his striking, almost cartoon-like visuals and idol-level presence. In the film, he plays Hwang Hyun-woo, TRIANGLE’s leader and former “dance machine” idol who now scrapes by as a TV personality lingering around broadcast stations.

Um Tae-goo plays the youngest member, Goo Sang-gu, whose rap skills are weak but passion is sky-high. Park Jihyeon plays Byun Do-mi, the group’s absolute-charisma center and the only woman in the lineup.

"Wild Sing" follows TRIANGLE, a co-ed dance group that once dominated the charts but disbanded after an unexpected incident. About 20 years later, they get a shot at a comeback and head back to the stage. The film is directed by Son Jae-gon and opens on June 3.
