Shinhwa member Lee Min-woo, who recently became a father of two, is back with new music after nearly two years.
Lee dropped his new single “WONDER U” at noon on April 3 via major online music platforms. It’s his first release in about two years as solo artist M, showcasing a deeper musical palette and a trendy vibe.
“WONDER U” captures that split-second when, even under dazzling lights and blaring music, one person suddenly comes into sharp focus. Lee channels that time-stopping pull and fleeting emotion with his signature, detailed delivery.
Driven by an unrelenting, high-energy beat and Lee’s captivating tone, the track takes listeners on a roller-coaster of feelings. Fans and critics alike say it spotlights both his seasoned stage chops and his sharp ear for current sounds.
As the main dancer of Korea’s longest-running idol group Shinhwa and a solo performer, Lee has carved out his own lane. With this release, he signals he’s still very much an active, evolving artist.
“WONDER U” also arrives in a collectible KiT Album format, offering fans a more immersive way to enjoy the music.
Meanwhile, Lee recently held a private wedding in Seoul with Lee Ami, an 11-years-younger third-generation Korean-Japanese. Shinhwa members Eric, Kim Dong-wan, Jun Jin, and Andy were in attendance, with Jun Jin and Andy hosting. Zion.T and GUMMY performed congratulatory songs.
