Figure skating “prince” Cha Jun-hwan has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio.
On the 3rd, Fantagio said, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Cha Jun-hwan. We’re thrilled to join him for this new chapter, where he has already proven his potential and talent as an entertainer through countless experiences. We will give our full support so his many charms can reach an even wider audience.”
Starting with a bronze at the 91st National Winter Sports Festival in 2010, Cha has shined at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics, the 2022 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, and the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, earning nicknames like “Asia Prince” and “Prince of the Ice.” Each season, his detailed expression and commanding presence drew praise at home and abroad, and he captured gold at the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games.
Having firmly established himself globally as a figure skater, Cha will now broaden his career as an entertainer with Fantagio.
Cha previously appeared as a child actor in MBC "Best Theater" and "The Return of Iljimae." While continuing his skating career, he proved his star power through variety shows like "You Quiz on the Block," "Running Man," "Knowing Bros," and "Radio Star," as well as photo shoots and commercials. Anticipation is high for his next moves as he continues to break boundaries beyond sports.
Meanwhile, Fantagio―the management company home to Baek Yoon-sik, Kim Seon-ho, Lee Sung-kyung, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Se-young, ASTRO, Lee Chang-sub, and LUN8―is expanding its reach across film and drama production and overseas concerts.
