Hong Sang-soo's 'The Day She Returns' Opens May 6; Kim Min-hee Steps in as Production Manager

Director Hong Sang-soo’s new film, "The Day She Returns", hits theaters on May 6.

"The Day She Returns" is Hong’s 34th feature. It follows a day in the life of a middle-aged actor who quit acting after marriage, then comes back to independent film after a divorce. The cast includes Song Sun-mi, Jo Yoon-hee, and Park Mi-so.

Kim Min-hee―Hong’s muse and partner―does not appear as an actor in this project; she worked as the production manager.

The film premiered in February in the Panorama section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.
