Hong Yoon-hwa opened up about unusual symptoms after her weight loss.
On the March 31 episode of SBS' "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny," Hong visited a hospital with her husband.
Hong, who lost 40kg over nine months, shared that she’s been experiencing strange changes lately.
"I'm not tired or depressed, but I've become calmer. My body has changed so much that it feels unfamiliar," she said.
"I never once thought the world was cold. But after losing weight, everything feels freezing. My hands shake. It's so unfamiliar," she added.
A specialist explained, "Your body is adjusting because your body fat has decreased. This is part of the normalization process."
Hong also revealed she sometimes struggles to sleep at night due to tinnitus. The specialist responded, "It could be due to a temporary nutritional imbalance," suggesting a lack of nutrients might be the cause.
"I thought, 'Something's missing in my body. My immunity must be down.' So I deliberately gained 4kg back," Hong admitted.
The specialist cautioned, "That's exactly how the yo-yo effect starts. Your weight can rebound quickly," drawing attention.
