Actor Jung Woo is wrapping up his long run with BH Entertainment.
After signing an exclusive contract in 2019, Jung Woo has worked closely with the company on a foundation of deep trust. He will stay with BH Entertainment through the release of his first directorial feature, “Audition 109,” in 2026, closing out the partnership on a high note.
BH Entertainment said, “We were happy to work with actor Jung Woo, and that time was a meaningful journey for both of us. We will continue our full support until his first directorial film ‘Audition 109’ meets audiences.” The company added, “We will keep cheering for Jung Woo so he can pursue even more diverse activities in his own color,” reaffirming its steady trust and support.
Known for his unfiltered charm and empathetic acting, Jung Woo has steadily built his own lane. He won public affection with the one-of-a-kind character “Audition 109” in the 2009 film “Wish,” and cemented a powerful presence with the “Trash” craze in the 2013 tvN drama “Reply 1994.”
Since then, he has shown range across projects including the films “C’est Si Bon,” “The Himalayas,” “New Trial,” “Heung-boo: The Revolutionist,” “Best Friend,” and “Hot Blooded,” as well as the drama “Mad for Each Other,” continuing a steady run of performances.
As his time with BH Entertainment comes to a close, Jung Woo is preparing a new challenge―not just as an actor, but as a director.
Meanwhile, Jung Woo’s film “Audition 109,” which he stars in and directs, is slated to hit theaters on April 24.
