I-DLE’s YUQI just set a new benchmark on China’s music charts.
As of March 27, her solo track ‘FREAK’ has charted for 100 consecutive weeks on Tencent Music Entertainment (TME)’s Tencent Music Korean Chart. That makes ‘FREAK’ the first song ever to hit 100 weeks on the chart and the longest-charting track in its history.
According to Tencent Music, “‘FREAK’ is the only song to remain on the Korean Chart for over 100 weeks. It has entered the Top 10 a total of 71 times and reached No. 1 on Recommended Songs four times.” They added that, based on its strong performance, the track received multiple accolades, including “Tencent Music Chart 2025 Song of the Year” and “Tencent Music Korean Chart 2025 Solo Artist of the Year.”
‘FREAK’ is the title track of YUQI’s first mini album ‘YUQ1,’ released in April 2024. The album surpassed 550,000 first-week sales and topped QQ Music’s Best-Selling Album daily and weekly charts. The song’s steady momentum led to the milestone of “100 consecutive weeks” on the Tencent Music Korean Chart.

YUQI’s digital single ‘Radio (Dum-Dum),’ released last March, is also on a hot streak. It has held a Top 10 spot on the Tencent Music Korean Chart for 54 consecutive weeks. Following ‘FREAK,’ the track’s run underscores YUQI’s growing impact in the market.
I-DLE is currently on their fourth world tour, “2026 I-DLE WORLD TOUR [Syncopation],” meeting fans around the globe. After shows in Seoul, Taipei, and Bangkok, the group is headed to Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Yokohama, and Hong Kong. On July 31 (local time), they will perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago’s Grant Park, then embark on a North American arena tour.
