Yoo Jae-suk is stepping up as the hero for middle school “Teum owners” on SBS’ "Whenever Possible".

On the March 17 broadcast of SBS’ "Whenever Possible", 2MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok team up with actors Park Sung-woong and Lee Sang-yun to bring healing vibes around the Daechi-dong area. And Yoo turns into a “real-life counselor” for second-year middle school “Teum owners,” drawing big laughs and nods from teens and parents alike.

Listening closely to two “Teum owners” who are close friends from the same postpartum care center days, Yoo zeroes in on their New Year’s cash dilemma. When one says, “I promised Dad we’d buy what we want with the New Year’s money we saved, but Mom said no,” Yoo jumps right in, empathizing hard: “But that New Year’s money is mine!” The counseling session begins naturally from there.

But when the wish list turns out pricier than “Jiho’s dad” expected, Yoo flips in an instant: “Honestly, dads have no power. You gotta listen to Mom,” cracking everyone up. When the student admits they didn’t even do New Year’s bows, he fires back like a real dad with survival tips: “You can’t do that. You bow the moment you open your eyes in the morning,” sending the set into laughter.

Elsewhere, Yoo answers the middle schoolers’ expectations and breaks out of his recent slump to become a full-on hero. From the first round of “trash-can basketball,” he’s on a roll. Unleashing a “one-hand” technique, he sinks shot after shot, leaving everyone buzzing. Surprised by the sudden hot streak, he even declares, “I’ll practice like crazy,” vowing to hard-carry as the undeniable basketball ace. When Park Sung-woong grumbles, “There’s wind here messing things up!” Yoo snaps back, “We’re indoors,” shutting down excuses and committing to a straight-up game plan―only heightening the anticipation around his performance.
