BloodhoundsNetflix’s "Bloodhounds" Season 2 has dropped character stills, teasing a brutal final showdown between Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, and Jung Ji-hoon.

After taking down a vicious illegal loan shark ring, Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) go toe-to-toe with a global underground boxing league run on money and violence. Netflix’s "Bloodhounds" Season 2 unveiled new character photos on the 12th.

First up, Gun-woo’s steely, more mature gaze grabs attention. Fresh off dismantling the loan shark syndicate, he launches into another fight to protect the people he loves. With his “hunting dog” focus back on, rewrapping his bandages and loosening up his fists, he radiates grim determination.

Sharing that he’s honored to return for Season 2, Woo Do-hwan said, “Compared to Season 1, Gun-woo’s environment has changed―his home, his mindset. He’s chasing the champion dream with a bit more ease,” adding, “Three years have passed, so I worked to show how he’s grown both physically and mentally.”

Woo-jin’s new role as Gun-woo’s boxing coach also intrigues. Once rivals on the amateur circuit, Gun-woo and Woo-jin forged a tight bond through tough fights. Now, from outside the ring, Woo-jin has Gun-woo’s back as they push toward the championship together. But that unflinching, ready-for-war stare hints his boxer’s heart still beats loud―and his impact will be big.

Lee Sang-yi noted Woo-jin’s evolution: “Woo-jin, with his big heart for boxing, becomes Gun-woo’s coach. The two become inseparable―best friends, brothers, family,” he said. “If Season 1’s Woo-jin felt mischievous, Season 2’s Woo-jin is laser-focused on protecting his mom and Gun-woo―more mature and more dependable.”

Enter Baek Jung (Jung Ji-hoon), whose presence cranks the tension. Motivated only by money, he runs a massive global illegal boxing league powered by huge viewership and high-stakes betting. His commanding look and sly, thrill-seeking smile signal a merciless villain with devastating firepower.

Taking on his first villain role since debut, Jung Ji-hoon said, “Baek Jung is a ruthless human weapon with no blood or tears. He dreams of becoming a champion but fails―and builds an underground boxing league where he reigns as king.” He added, “I focused on his inner, animal instincts. I wanted to express a constant, knife’s-edge sharpness.”

Fans are hyped to see the beloved Season 1 brotherhood of Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi collide with newcomer villain Jung Ji-hoon. Director Kim Joo-hwan shared, “We’ve shot over 270 scenes with Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi. They feel like family―brothers, mentors. Their bromance deepened this time. Watching them rely on each other and push each other’s growth was moving.”

On Baek Jung, he added, “If Season 1’s Myung-gil was the alpha wolf, Baek Jung is a massive tiger―solitary, more savage, and lethal.” He continued, “For my generation, Jung Ji-hoon is iconic. The aura, the physique that threatens Gun-woo, the action capability―he has it all.”

The hounds are back―biting to the end and guarding to the end. With fiercer villains and upgraded action and scale, Netflix’s "Bloodhounds" Season 2 promises peak catharsis when it premieres on April 3 (Fri).
