'The King's Warden' Set to Top 'Exhuma' as It Blazes Past 11.88 Million Admissions

The film “The King's Warden” is showing no signs of slowing down, pulling in nearly 200,000 weekday viewers in its sixth week.

According to the Korean Film Council’s box office tracker on the 11th, the movie drew 177,153 admissions nationwide on the 10th, holding the No. 1 spot. Its cumulative total now stands at 11,884,000 admissions.

After crossing 11 million on the 8th―its 33rd day in theaters―“The King's Warden” continues to attract close to 200,000 viewers on weekdays and is cruising toward the 12 million mark. It currently ranks No. 18 on the all-time box office chart and is expected to surpass "Exhuma"’s 11,914,869 admissions today.

"Exhuma" was one of the Korean films to top 10 million admissions in 2024, and both titles were financed and distributed by Showbox.
