2NE1’s Park Bom spoke out about her past drug controversy, saying she feels wronged ― and her post is sparking fresh debate after she appeared to call out another group member.
On March 3, Park Bom posted a handwritten letter on her social media, writing that she wanted to “tell everyone the truth,” and making a series of shocking claims.

Back in October 2010, Park Bom had Adderall ― which contains amphetamine and is classified as a psychotropic drug in Korea ― shipped from the U.S. to Korea. The issue surfaced in June 2014, triggering controversy. At the time, her side said the medication was for treatment and apologized for not properly declaring it to customs, citing a lack of awareness of the rules.
In her new letter, Park Bom wrote, “That’s not drugs. I have ADD ― attention-deficit disorder,” adding, “At the time, there was no Adderall available in the country, and there was no law for it.” She reiterated her stance on the situation back then.
She then added a bombshell: “DARA was caught for drugs, and to cover that up, they made Park Bom look like a drug addict.”

Park Bom also mentioned others by name, saying, “YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, Teddy, and Lee Chae-rin (CL’s Korean name) ― please don’t report to the country that Park Bom used more than the proper dosage of drugs when she hasn’t used any for almost 30 years.”
She closed the letter by explaining why she decided to post it: “I’m writing because it feels like my soul is crying.”
Although Park Bom made shocking claims, none of the allegations have been verified. Recently, she drew backlash for posting on social media that she had married actor Lee Min-ho and that she had not received settlements from YG Entertainment ― claims that were widely dismissed.
In October last year, Park Bom shared documents saying she had filed a complaint against Yang Hyun-suk, executive producer of YG Entertainment, over settlement issues. However, her side later said that 2NE1’s activity-related settlements had already been completed and that no complaint had actually been filed. They also stated, “Park Bom is currently in a very emotionally unstable state and urgently needs treatment and rest to recover.”
