Yoo Jae-suk shared his honest take on “Dubai Chewy Cookie” (currently the most popular dessert in Korea).
On the Feb. 17 broadcast of SBS’s "Whenever Possible," the Yoo-Yoo duo chatted about Dubai Chewy Cookie.
Tasting it on-air, Yoo Jae-suk started, “Hmm, I’m not so sure about this.”
He added, “Honestly, Dubai Chewy Cookie just isn’t for me.” Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon-seok’s super-in-sync reaction grabbed attention.
Yoo Jae-suk then asked, “Isn’t Dubai Chewy Cookie a bit much for Seollal (Lunar New Year)?” Yoo Yeon-seok replied, “If you bring something like this, your nieces and nephews will still love it.”
Yoo Jae-suk countered, “Adults will go, ‘What is this?’ They’ll try a little and say it’s not to their taste.” He then asked Yoo Yeon-seok where he was headed for the holiday.
Yoo Yeon-seok said, “I’m not going. There’s too much I’ll have to hear. The moment I arrive, it’s, ‘So when are you getting married?’ I meet my nieces and nephews separately. Last time, I gave them allowance with a game.”
“That’s really not it,” Yoo Jae-suk replied. “Just give the money―why make it a game?” Yoo Yeon-seok shot back, “It’s fun. Try it at home with your family. It’s worth it,” actively recommending the Teum Game.
