Actor Oh Yeon-ah will take on the title role in the play "Jeong-hee."
"Jeong-hee" is a spin-off set in the universe of tvN’s drama "My Mister". Building on that familiar emotional tone, the play adds a fresh, standalone story. It centers on the character Jeong-hee―someone who has existed in the same world but hasn’t been fully spotlighted―and expands the original’s emotional threads from a new perspective.
Onstage, Oh Yeon-ah plays Jeong-hee, the owner of the neighborhood bar “Jeong-hee’s,” and a childhood friend who grew up in the same area as the three Dong-hoon brothers. Jeong-hee rides an emotional rollercoaster between bright humor and quiet burnout, shaped by fractures she carries inside. Oh is set to breathe new life into the role with her distinctive voice and timing.
Following her role as Kang Yun-hee in the stage adaptation of "My Mister", Oh will now transform into Jeong-hee for this production―raising anticipation for how she’ll reinterpret the character within the same universe.
Oh Yeon-ah has left a strong impression with her solid acting. She has appeared in a range of projects. She especially drew chills with her chilling presence in tvN’s "Signal."
"Jeong-hee" will premiere at YES24 Stage 3 Hall from Tuesday, March 31 to Sunday, June 14.
