Actor Jung Eun-woo Dies at 40; Shared Leslie Cheung & Amy Winehouse Photos a Day Before

Actor Jung Eun-woo (Jung Dong-jin) has passed away.

According to industry sources on the 11th, Jung Eun-woo died that day. He was 40. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.

The wake is being held in Special Room 2 at New Korea Hospital Funeral Hall in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province. The funeral will take place at 12 p.m. on the 13th, with cremation at Byeokje Crematorium.

One day before his death, he posted a poignant update on social media. Along with the words “Longing, envy, regret…,” he shared his own photo next to images of the late Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung and British singer Amy Winehouse.

Born in 1986, Jung Eun-woo debuted in 2006 through the KBS2 youth drama "Sharp 3." His last project was the 2021 film "Memory."
