Singer Sung Si-kyung and Hwa Sa are unveiling their “Good Goodbye” duet stage on TV for the first time.
SBS’ "Seollal Special Concert: Sung Si-kyung," a broadcast that encapsulates his 25-year music journey, airs Saturday, Feb. 14, at 8:30 p.m., kicking off the Lunar New Year holiday programming.
The TV version expands on last year’s all-sold-out “Concert Sung Si-kyung,” held Dec. 25-28, and follows his career timeline to mark his 25th anniversary ― a one-of-a-kind concert experience brought to the small screen.
Sung Si-kyung’s signature hits will fill the broadcast. He’ll also perform “Solar System,” one of his personal favorites. Introducing the track, he shared, “Composer Kang Seung-won used to sing it at gatherings, and I asked to sing it myself. It’s about a presence you can never truly reach ― a distance you see painfully every night. It doesn’t feel like a song from today,” sparking curiosity.
A major highlight: a bold, first-time reveal of a duet stage with special guest Hwa Sa of MAMAMOO. Selected as Hwa Sa’s partner, Sung Si-kyung joins her for a performance of her hit “Good Goodbye,” surprising everyone with a duet dance.
With no re-runs or OTT release planned, SBS’ "Seollal Special Concert: Sung Si-kyung" can only be watched during its TV airing on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 8:30 p.m.
