Couple reality show "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny", now airing on Tuesday nights, is set to introduce its 100th “fate couple” with former Major Leaguer Kim Byung-hyun.
During a recent taping of SBS’ "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny", Kim―who used to stay cool in front of tens of thousands―looked visibly nervous in his solo interview, asking, “Can I do this without my wife?” It’s his first time appearing on a couple show with his wife, whom he’s kept out of the spotlight throughout their 17-year marriage. Even the MCs were stunned: “We’re close with Kim Byung-hyun, but we’ve never seen his wife,” and “He hid her from us, too.”
Then Kim’s wife, Han Kyung-min, appeared―and her poised, theater-and-film-grad elegance drew gasps all around. Viewers will finally learn the identity of the “baseball legend” Kim Byung-hyun’s mystery wife on the broadcast.
Han Kyung-min kicked things off with, “Everything about my husband is a secret. Are we really supposed to live like this?” She went on to drop jaw-dropping revelations about Kim, shaking the studio. The biggest shocker: “Serial entrepreneur” Kim has launched business venture No. 12―without ever once discussing it with her. Han added, “Even as his wife, I hear about openings and closures only through acquaintances or the news,” leaving everyone stunned.
Kim is now all-in on his 12th venture: a sausage business. Later, Han suddenly burst into tears in front of Kim, leaving him flustered. What do those tears mean?
A special guest also stopped by the studio: actor Cha Tae-hyun, now a “real boss.” He shared that he recently became a co-CEO of a management company with his close friend of 20 years, actor Zo In-sung. He revealed that the company is doing well enough that he confidently handed out staff bonuses―earning instant envy from the MCs. But in true “rookie CEO” fashion, Cha then told a surprising story about what happened after the bonuses went out, grabbing everyone’s attention.
Kim Byung-hyun and his wife’s explosive 17-years-in-the-making tell-all―and the “serial entrepreneur’s” never-give-up startup saga―will unfold on "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny", airing Tuesday at 10:40 p.m.
