A special program celebrating screen legend Ahn Sung-ki, “Ahn Sung-ki in the 21st Century,” is set to open.

Picture House announced on the 27th that it will host the monthlong retrospective from Feb. 5 to Mar. 5 at its venue.

“Ahn dominated Chungmuro in the ’80s and ’90s and, moving into the 2000s, never lost his passion for supporting roles and independent cinema,” the organizer said, adding that the series “offers a fresh look at his 21st-century work.”

The lineup includes "Paper Flower" (which earned him Best Actor at WorldFest-Houston), "In the Name of the Son," "Unbowed," "Revivre," and "Cassiopeia."

Alongside the screenings, the lobby gallery will present an exhibition featuring stills of Ahn captured by acclaimed photographer Koo Bohnchang ― including an iconic image from "Our Sweet Days of Youth" and a previously unreleased poster shot from their final collaboration on "Paper Flower" ― plus production stills, on-set photos, and related video materials from the featured titles.

Post-screening Q&A sessions with collaborating directors and actors are also in the works.
