'EXchange 2' Park Na-eon Accepted to U.S. Law School with Scholarship: "I Never Gave Up"

Park Na-eon (29), who rose to fame on TVING’s 2022 dating series "EXchange 2", shared that she’s been accepted to a U.S. law school ― with a scholarship offer to boot.

Announcing the news on Instagram on the 16th, Park wrote that she received an acceptance and scholarship proposal last week after years of preparation. “When I heard the result, excitement came second to gratitude for everyone who quietly cheered me on,” she said, adding, “Thank you for sticking with me through a long prep period, even when I wasn’t perfect.”

Park noted that this is the first acceptance she’s received from the U.S. schools she applied to, and she’s still waiting on decisions from the rest.

Opening up about the grind behind the scenes, Park reflected, “For years I carried the label of ‘law school hopeful’ without a clear result to show for it. Repeated rejections after final interviews left me feeling helpless, and there were plenty of moments I just wanted to hide.” She continued, “But all those anxious, uneasy days ― without giving up ― eventually added up to a yes.”

Calling the journey “a valuable time that forced me to face my own shortcomings,” Park said she’s ready to return to student life “with diligence and humility.”

Park appeared on "EXchange 2" alongside her ex, Jung Hyun-gyu, while studying law at Hongik University. After the show, she continued pursuing law school admission while building her profile as an influencer and YouTuber.

In 2023, Park issued a public apology following controversy over past remarks about law school. Reflecting on her acceptance, she added, “I hope my news gives a little strength to anyone chasing a dream right now. Thank you again to everyone who’s supported me.”
