ALLDAY PROJECT ANNIE Heads Back to Columbia University, Group Shifts to Solo Moves

ANNIE of ALLDAY PROJECT ― and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group chair Jung Yoo-kyung ― is pressing pause on music promotions to return to school.

According to The Black Label, ANNIE re-enrolled at Columbia University in New York this month and plans to focus on her studies through May. She may still appear at select events, like fan signings, schedule permitting.

While K-pop idols often step back for health or rest, it’s far less common to pause activities to study abroad ― a move that’s drawing extra attention in ANNIE’s case.

ANNIE previously shared that she hit the books to earn her parents’ blessing to debut as a singer, working toward admission to Columbia University.

During ANNIE’s study-focused stretch, fellow ALLDAY PROJECT members will continue music work and connect with fans through individual activities.
