Lady DuaNetflix has locked February 13 (Fri.) for the premiere of its new series "The Art of Sarah", headlined by Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk. Alongside the date, the streamer rolled out a moody teaser poster and first-look trailer.

From director Kim Jin-min―praised for the razor-sharp "Extracurricular" and "My Name"―"The Art of Sarah" tracks a woman determined to pass as the real thing, no matter the cost, and the detective intent on unmasking her. The project reunites Shin and Lee eight years after "Stranger," promising a fresh spark between the leads.

The newly released poster zeroes in on detective Park Mu-gyeong (Lee Jun-hyuk), seated beside the bloodied body of a woman whose face is obscured by a handbag. In the background, a blurred silhouette of Sara Kim (Shin Hae-sun) and a notebook crammed with scrawls tease the puzzle to come―what happened, and how are these two connected? A thin ribbon of blood tracing Sara’s jawline, flowing past Mu-gyeong to the corpse, hints at the secrets she hides and the truth he refuses to stop chasing.

The teaser trailer flips through Sara Kim’s many faces, asking who she really is―and what life among them is the truth. After a faceless body turns up in a sewer, Mu-gyeong takes the case; an ankle tattoo and surrounding clues point to the victim as Sara Kim. “There are no records of Sara Kim anywhere,” a voice warns, as the detective launches a relentless hunt through every fragment of her past.

Tears streak down Sara’s face as she whispers that something is terribly wrong―then the trailer cuts between two starkly different lives: one where she glides through luxury boutiques, another where she toils in threadbare clothes and scavenges leftover food. The split-screen lives clash and blur, daring viewers to decide which Sara is real.

“If you can’t tell it from the real thing, is it still fake?” Sara asks, sharpening the series’ central question about a woman desperate to be authentic―and a life built on beautiful lies.

Promising an unpredictable mystery with sleek twists and sharp turns, "The Art of Sarah" premieres February 13 on Netflix.
