DANIELLE Gets Emotional in First Live Since ADOR Split: "NewJeans Is Always in My Heart"

DANIELLE of NewJeans spoke directly to fans for the first time since her contract with ADOR was terminated, growing tearful during a live stream as she said, “NewJeans is always in my heart.”

The singer went live Monday on Instagram and YouTube for a “Live Message” session, appearing in a beige cardigan and greeting fans ― known as Bunnies ― with, “Hi, Bunnies. I’m already tearing up,” as her voice shook.

“Showing up like this feels unfamiliar, and it makes my heart go quiet,” she told viewers. “Saying ‘thanks for waiting’ isn’t enough. You stayed right where you were. Your messages were so warm, and that warmth stayed with me.”

Looking back on recent months, DANIELLE added, “I learned a lot, and there was a lot I had to protect. Under a different sky, I met myself again, and I kept stories for Bunnies close to my heart,” wiping away tears.

She also opened up about her fellow NewJeans members. “What I can say clearly is that I fought to the very end to be with the members,” she said. “Even if we’re standing in slightly different places, I believe we’re one Bunnies, one family. NewJeans is always in a corner of my heart.”

DANIELLE kept comments about ongoing legal matters brief. “A lot is still being resolved,” she noted, adding, “When the time is right, I’ll speak about the lawsuit myself.” She continued, “This isn’t the end. Whether it’s through music, quiet, or small moments, I want to share honestly in the days ahead.”

Before signing off, she told fans, “I want to return the love Bunnies gave me, in the ways I know how, little by little. I hope your days are gentle, healthy, and full of light.” She closed the stream with, “This is the beginning.”

DANIELLE was notified of her contract termination following a dispute with ADOR and is currently named in a damages suit reportedly valued at approximately 43 billion won. Her team emphasized the livestream was “purely to connect with fans” and unrelated to the litigation.
