The boy band ONEUS―spotlighted pre-debut as MAMAMOO’s junior group―is ending its exclusive contract with RBW. Still, the members made it clear the team will carry on.
In a statement, RBW said that after extensive talks about the group’s future, all five members mutually agreed to conclude their exclusive contracts at the end of February 2026. “Separate from the contract’s end, the members agreed to continue promoting together under the name ONEUS,” the label noted.
ONEUS will finish its official schedule as an RBW act following a new album and promotions planned for January 2026.
RBW added that it will actively cooperate on everything needed for the group’s activities so the members can keep connecting with fans as ONEUS, regardless of changes to their circumstances.
ONEUS debuted on Jan. 9, 2019, entering their seventh year in 2024. Eldest member enlisted earlier this year, and with the much-discussed “seven-year” milestone approaching, contract decisions had been closely watched. Fans are expressing relief that the group chose to stay together rather than disband.
In 2023, ONEUS finished as runners-up on Mnet’s "ROAD TO KINGDOM: ACE OF ACE," once again showcasing their performance power and musicality. Since former member RAVN’s voluntary departure in 2022, the group has promoted as a five-piece.
