Jeon Yeo-been Tears Up Accepting Excellence Award at 2025 SBS Drama Awards: “I Felt I Fell Short”

Jeon Yeo-been was moved to tears as she picked up the Excellence Award.

At the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, broadcast live from SBS Prism Tower in Seoul on Dec. 31, Jeon won Best Actress (Mini-Series, Melodrama).

Jeon earned the honor for her turn as terminally ill Lee Da-eum in the series “Our Movie.”

“I want to dedicate this award to my brilliant scene partner, Nam Goong-min, whom I loved working with,” she said, thanking her co-star.

“She was such a beautiful soul, and I keep feeling I didn’t fully do her justice. I’m so sorry,” Jeon added, growing emotional.

She went on to thank the crew one by one for lifting her up on set, and closed with: “I’ll take this as a reminder to deliver more truthful performances and keep pushing myself.”
