Ji Ye-eun Tears Up Accepting Variety Excellence at SBS Entertainment Awards: "I Pray Before Every Shoot"

Ji Ye-eun fought back tears as she accepted an Excellence Award.

On December 30, the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards aired live from SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul, starting at 8:50 p.m. KST. Ji Ye-eun took home the Female Excellence Award in the Show/Variety category.

“Last year I was so nervous I couldn’t even speak, and I really regretted it,” she said, recalling the previous ceremony.

Taking a deep breath, she added, “Thank you to the genius 'Running Man' staff. You’ve shaped me into this cute, lovable character, and I’m so grateful.”

She then shouted out her "Running Man" castmates, tearing up as she said, “I’m the youngest, and you’ve all doted on me so much. Thank you.”

“This year brought a lot of joy, a lot of fun―and some sadness too,” she continued. “But more than anything, I just feel grateful.”

Mentioning her family brought another wave of tears. She closed with, “I’m very introverted, and I still feel small, so I pray before every shoot. Thank you to God for the strength He gives me,” wishing everyone good health in 2026.
