The outlet that recently reported on MC Mong’s alleged affair has now questioned the finances of P_Arc Group chairman Cha Ga-won ― and her camp is pushing back.
Online outlet The Fact published a piece scrutinizing the financial health of One Hundred ― the entertainment company co-founded by MC Mong and Cha Ga-won and currently led by Cha ― and its subsidiary label Big Planet Made Entertainment (BPM).
Citing an audit report, The Fact claimed that as of December 31, 2024, Big Planet Made’s liabilities of about 53.2 billion won exceeded its assets of roughly 34.2 billion won, calling it a “negative equity” situation. The report also flagged wardrobe spending of about 10.8 billion won ― 57% of its approximately 18.8 billion won in revenue ― as abnormal, and said year-end cash on hand was only around 50 million won.
The outlet further asserted that INB100 ― home to EXO’s CHEN, BAEKHYUN and XIUMIN ― relies largely on advances, saying the total advanced over 2023-2024 topped 72 billion won while year-end cash stood near 60 million won.
In a statement on the 29th, One Hundred said the audit figures in question stemmed from a filing error.
According to the company, the 10.8 billion won listed as “wardrobe” at Big Planet Made was actually production costs that were misclassified. It said the error was identified in July, a correction was requested from its external auditor, and the fix is scheduled to be reflected by March 31 of next year.
Addressing INB100, the company said advances totaled 29 billion won in 2023 and an additional 14 billion won in 2024, arguing that the “72 billion won over two years” claim was a simple summation mistake. It also emphasized that Chairman Cha’s prepayments to Big Planet Made, One Hundred and INB100 are significantly larger than the advances those entities received.
One Hundred oversees Big Planet Made Entertainment ― home to VIVIZ, BADVILLAIN, Lee Mujin, BE'O, TAEMIN and Lee Seung-gi ― and INB100, home to CHEN, BAEKHYUN and XIUMIN.
Separately, Cha’s side says it has already initiated legal action over the affair report.
Plaza, Cha’s legal representative, stated on the 29th: “We have taken civil and criminal action regarding the article published on the 24th and the YouTube videos that circulated it. Without any effort to verify the facts or offer a right of reply, they revealed Chairman Cha’s full name and labeled her MC Mong’s ‘alleged affair partner.’ This severely infringed upon her dignity, reputation and privacy.”
Both Cha Ga-won and MC Mong continue to deny the affair allegations as baseless.
