B1A4 Launches B1A4 Company After 14 Years; All Three Members on the Board

Fourteen years after their debut, B1A4 is striking out on its own, launching B1A4 Company and signaling a fresh chapter for the K-pop trio.

On Dec. 23, WM Entertainment announced it had ended its exclusive contract with B1A4 members CNU, SANDEUL and GONGCHAN, emphasizing the split was amicable and that both sides plan to continue collaborating on select projects, including overseas activities.

Almost immediately, fans noticed changes across B1A4’s official website and social channels. Holiday snapshots, challenge clips and behind-the-scenes videos rolled out in quick succession, effectively teasing a new season for the group.

Public corporate filings show a company under the name "B1A4 Company" was established on Dec. 22. CNU, SANDEUL and GONGCHAN are listed as directors, pointing to a well-prepared move toward independent operations.

Fan reaction has been warm: “I was worried, but now I’m excited,” one comment read, while others cheered, “Keeping the name alone means so much,” and “It really feels like B1A4’s next chapter starts now.”

B1A4 debuted in April 2011 and built a fanbase in Korea and Japan, with members expanding into musicals and acting alongside their music careers.
