'My Little Old Boy' Han Hye-jin Goes Full Avatar with DIY Makeup & Costume; Interviews 'Avatar: Fire & Ash' Cast

Han Hye-jin went full blue for the cameras, transforming into a spot-on Avatar.

On the Dec. 21 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy," the model-turned-TV star suited up as Varang from Avatar for a special overseas assignment.

Han flew to Los Angeles to interview the cast of Avatar, and she showed up in character ― crafting the look herself from makeup to wardrobe.

She wasn’t alone: comedian Um Ji-yoon also jumped in on the bit, donning matching blue makeup for extra impact.

“This is going to blow up in the States if you do the interview like this,” Um predicted, sensing a viral moment in the making.

Han doubled down with a grin: “No one’s done this in America ― it’s a first. We’re talking world-first promo here.”

When Han walked onto the interview set, the actors couldn’t hide their surprise. It wasn’t just the face paint ― the custom costume sealed the illusion.

“Great to meet you all ― I’m K-Varang,” she joked, before revealing that the eye-catching look was hand-built in Korea and flown over, earning impressed nods from the cast.
