On the Dec. 21 episode of SBS’s variety hit "Running Man", the cast kicked things off by celebrating Yang Se-chan’s birthday.
When a cake and a pointy party hat showed up, Ji Seok-jin joked, “Why is he getting the VIP treatment?” He added, “Don’t we usually save this for the end?” which drew playful teases of “Are you jealous?” from the members.
Keeping the bit going, Ji mock-grumbled about fairness: “Doesn’t this break the usual rules? We just do a quick moment at the closing.” Yang, half-laughing and half-wounded, shot back, “Fairness?”
Sensing an opening, HAHA poked, “Should we throw you a 60th-birthday bash?” Ji didn’t miss a beat: “I’m saying it now―on my birthday next year, don’t do anything. Seriously, don’t.” The blunt warning only amped up curiosity about what the show might have planned when his milestone day arrives in two months.
