Ahn Eun-jin Caught in Protest Chaos as 'Dynamic Kiss' Hits No. 1 on Netflix

Ahn Eun-jin is headed straight into a crisis on SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Dynamic Kiss’

The buzzy series is not only dominating at home, it’s breaking out abroad―leading Korea’s weekday drama ratings across all networks for five straight weeks and claiming No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) for two consecutive weeks (Nov. 24-Dec. 7). With four episodes left, the show’s late-season surge is one to watch.

Ahn plays Go Da-rim, a resilient ray-of-sunshine heroine who keeps getting back up no matter how hard she’s knocked down. After her younger sister disappears, leaving behind massive debt, and her mother collapses from the shock, the single Da-rim fakes being a mom to land a job. Things get even messier when an earth-shaking kiss with her boss―team leader Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong)―blows her cover. With her family’s livelihood on the line, she bows her head and begs for forgiveness through tears.

Even if she got in under false pretenses, Da-rim has been pulling her weight on the company’s Mother Task Force (TF) team―rallying discouraged colleagues and getting the job done. Viewers are rooting for her to level up in both love and work.

Ahead of Episode 11, the production dropped new stills on Dec. 17 that crank up the tension, revealing Da-rim barreling into a major, unexpected crisis.

In the photos, Da-rim is surrounded in the lobby of baby-products brand Natural Bebe as protesters wave signs reading “Natural Bebe OUT” and “Boycott.” Faces are tight with anger―one person even hurls an object her way. In another shot, fellow Mother TF teammate Jang Jin-hee (Jung Soo-young) rushes in, seemingly to shield her.

“What happens to Da-rim in Episode 11 is something she never saw coming―and it sparks a major shift in her heart,” the producers tease, adding, “Ahn Eun-jin delivers a nuanced, deeply felt turn that captures Da-rim’s emotional pivot.
