'Taxi Driver' Lee Je-hoon Drains Clutch 3s on 'Whenever Possible 4' Premiere―Yes, in Dress Shoes

"Taxi Driver" star Lee Je-hoon is trading the driver’s seat for the hardwood on "Whenever Possible".

The SBS variety series returns with its Season 4 premiere tonight at 9 p.m. KST, built around surprise challenges that turn everyday downtime into lucky moments. Its most recent Episode 35 hit 5.1% in the Seoul metro, 4.5% nationwide and 1.5% among viewers 20-49, topping its time slot in the key demo and leading all Tuesday variety shows, according to Nielsen Korea.

For the opener, "Taxi Driver 3" co-stars Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin join Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok as guest teammates―turning up the competitive heat despite the winter chill.

The day’s mission: make a basket. Staring up at a rim set comically high, Pyo Ye-jin blurts, “Is that even possible?” While everyone struggles from the 1-point line, Lee shrugs, “Should we just go for three?” He steps to the arc and drills it on his first try, blowing the gym up. Then he keeps swishing threes back-to-back in dress shoes, prompting students to chant “Kim Do-gi! Kim Do-gi!”―his "Taxi Driver alter" ego. “My dopamine is through the roof,” he laughs, and the hot streak keeps rolling.

Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk dusts off his endearingly “clutch-averse” persona. Back on a mission for the first time in four months, he looks extra tense; when students start chanting “Grasshopper! Grasshopper!,” Yoo Yeon-seok deadpans, “Guys, don’t give Jae-suk too much spotlight,” cracking everyone up. When a bonus-coupon swap comes up, Yoo bickers with Pyo over who should sub out before pleading, “Ye-jin, please―let me sit this one out,” sparking even bigger laughs.
