LISA and Lee Jin-wook are teaming up with Don Lee on "Taigo" (literal title), an action blockbuster now heading into production.
Netflix has confirmed "Taigo", a film set in the same universe as Chris Hemsworth’s adrenaline-fueled "Extraction" franchise, and unveiled a fresh, globally minded cast.
"Taigo" centers on a war orphan turned mercenary who’s deep into a critical mission when Ria―his teammate and found family―is kidnapped by a criminal syndicate, forcing him into a life-or-death rescue. Within the "Extraction" universe, the film introduces new heroes, their tight-knit crew, and the ruthless organization that hunts them.
Global star Don Lee leads as "Taigo", bringing his commanding presence from "The Roundup" franchise and his Hollywood debut in Marvel’s "Eternals." The multi-hyphenate actor-producer is set to showcase a new shade of his action persona in the role.

Lee Jin-wook (from Netflix’s "Squid Game" and "Sweet Home") transforms as Arman Choi, a key figure within the crime organization opposing "Taigo". Known for his range, Lee is poised for a tense face-off with Don Lee on screen.
BLACKPINK’s LISA, the global K-pop phenomenon, plays Ria―"Taigo"’s teammate and confidante who survived a perilous childhood alongside him before the mission goes awry. Following her memorable turn in "The White Lotus" Season 3, "Taigo" marks her first Korean film and a much-anticipated leap into action.
Director Lee Sang-yong, who helmed "The Roundup" 2 and 3 (the first Korean film series to notch three 10-million admissions), is at the helm, with action master Heo Myung-haeng―known for crafting some of Korean cinema’s most iconic fight sequences―leading stunt and action design.

"Taigo" is produced by Big Punch Pictures, led by Don Lee, alongside AGBO―the company behind Netflix’s "Extraction" films and "The Gray Man." Nova Film and B&C Group, which produced Netflix’s "Badland Hunters," join as co-producers.
“I’m thrilled that a project I’ve been preparing with AGBO for years is finally underway,” Don Lee said. “'Taigo' will bring a distinctly Korean flavor to the 'Extraction' global universe, and I can’t wait to share its explosive energy with audiences worldwide.”
“As a fan of the 'Extraction' series, it’s an honor to join its universe,” Lee Jin-wook shared. “I’m especially excited and grateful to work with Don Lee and LISA. I’ll give it my all to deliver a great film.” LISA added, “I’m truly honored to be part of this project and to work alongside such incredible actors. Starring in an action movie has been a longtime dream, and I’m thrilled that my first film is such an exciting one.”
