Singer-actor Kim Jae-joong will appear on Fuji TV’s 2025 FNS Music Festival tonight (Dec. 3, JST), marking his eighth consecutive year on the show and cementing his status in Japan.
Launched in 1974, the FNS Music Festival is one of Japan’s marquee year-end music specials, spotlighting standout artists with live performances.
This year’s edition airs over two nights―Dec. 3 and Dec. 10. Kim is set for Night 1 and is promising a special performance.
At this year’s FNS, Kim will duet "Rainy Blue" with the song’s original artist, Tokunaga Hideaki, a team-up that has fans buzzing.
In October, Kim dropped his new Japanese album "Rhapsody," which hit No. 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Albums, Weekly Digital Albums and Weekly Combined Albums charts (week of Oct. 27), marking his third career No. 1 on the combined chart. He also wrapped a successful four-city arena tour of solo concerts, underscoring his enduring popularity locally.
Up next, Kim will hold a fan meeting in Beijing on Dec. 6, then head to Macau for the "2025 iNKODE To Play: Christmas Show" on Dec. 25.
