D.O. is on a hot streak, showing two wildly different sides on Disney+’s "The Manipulated" and tvN’s "Green Bean, Red Bean spin-off : Joy Pops Laugh Pops".

On "The Manipulated", he plays Ahn Yo-han, an emotionless endgame villain who hides a chilling menace beneath a gentlemanly veneer―and explodes with sudden, unnerving fury. As the episodes ramp up, D.O. layers in sleek sword work and kinetic set pieces, sharpening the character and cranking up the show’s tension. The series has been dominating Disney+ in Korea and climbing worldwide rankings, signaling real global momentum.

Flip the channel to tvN’s "Green Bean, Red Bean spin-off : Joy Pops Laugh Pops", and he’s pure charm. Traveling through Mexico with real-life friends Lee Kwang-soo and Kim Woo-bin, D.O leans into his foodie instincts―laser-focused on finding the perfect taco. His hunt pays off with a spot serving standout tripe tacos (tacos de tripa) that win over the crew and the in-show KKPP Food team. As the polite youngest who still ends up calling the shots, he delivers easy, wholesome laughs. The show has also been landing near the top of Tving’s real-time variety rankings each week.

Music-wise, D.O hasn’t slowed down. Earlier this month, his remake of "If It Was Me" with veteran vocalist Na Yoon-kwon entered major charts to warm reception, and he just wrapped a four-month, 10-city Asia tour. With news of upcoming EXO group activities, anticipation for his music is only growing.
